Ten years ago, we opened our doors with a New Year’s Eve party…an appropriate beginning for a place built to bring people together.
Now, as The Venue at Lenoir City is preparing to celebrate its 10th anniversary, we’re getting ready to welcome another new year in the same spirit. Our upcoming New Year’s Eve Gala will celebrate both the arrival of 2027 and a decade of the people, events, and community connections that have made The Venue what it is today.
And there is so much to celebrate!
A Decade of Life’s Big Moments
Over the past ten years, The Venue has been part of some of life’s most meaningful occasions. Wedding ceremonies and receptions. Birthday parties and anniversary celebrations. Quinceañeras, proms, and school dances. Family gatherings that bring several generations together under one roof.
Each event has its own story. For our team, the work begins well before the first guest arrives: arranging rooms, coordinating details, preparing for the unexpected, and helping hosts turn their plans into welcoming experiences.
The reward comes when those preparations become someone’s memory, like a first dance, a proud parent’s smile, a room full of friends, or a celebration people are still talking about years later.
A Place for Business and Community
Our work has also included meetings, conferences, training sessions, expos, and business gatherings. We’ve welcomed organizations that need space to share ideas, recognize accomplishments, and connect with the people they serve.
Nonprofit and community events have been an equally meaningful part of our story. Fundraisers, school functions, civic gatherings, and public celebrations give people opportunities to support causes, celebrate local achievements, and strengthen relationships.
The variety keeps our work interesting. A room prepared for a business presentation can become a dance floor, a fundraiser, or an exhibition space. Every change calls for careful planning, execution, and a team ready to help.
An Impact Beyond Our Doors
An event’s reach extends beyond the people in the room.
Guests visiting Lenoir City may stay in a nearby hotel, eat at a local restaurant, fill up at a local gas station, shop in our retail outlets, or explore what Loudon County has to offer in the way of attractions. Events also create opportunities for caterers, photographers, florists, decorators, entertainers, and other local businesses.
As a department of the City of Lenoir City, we take pride in that community connection. Attracting and welcoming visitors and giving local residents a place to gather are both central to our work.
The People Behind Ten Years
This 10th anniversary belongs to many people. It belongs to the clients who trusted us with important occasions, the guests who filled our rooms, and the vendors and community partners who helped bring each event together.
It also belongs to our staff. It’s personally owned by the people setting and clearing tables, checking details, welcoming guests, and staying until the work is finished every time. Their care and effort have shaped the experiences we offer.
To everyone who has celebrated, worked, volunteered, or partnered with us: Thank you for being part of our first ten years.
Celebrate With Us This New Year’s Eve
On December 31, 2026, we’ll come full circle with our 10th Anniversary New Year’s Eve Gala, presented by LCUB.
With dancing to live music by Liquid Velvet (sponsored by United Community), fancy food stations, casino games (sponsored by SouthEast Bank), a photo booth, a late-night dessert bar, favors, a cash bar with a complimentary champagne toast and fireworks at midnight (sponsored by Knoxville TVA Employees Credit Union), we’re preparing for an evening worthy of the occasion.
Whether you joined us at our opening celebration, have attended events throughout the years, or will be visiting for the first time, we invite you to help us welcome 2027.
We started with a New Year’s Eve party. Ten years later, we’re ready to celebrate again, with gratitude for everyone who helped us get here and with excitement for the gatherings still to come.
