The key to successful event planning isn't having everything figured out on day one. It's knowing what decisions need to be made—and when they need to be made. While every event is different, this general timeline can help keep the planning process organized, manageable, and, most importantly, enjoyable.

It's best to start planning earlier than you think! One of the most common misconceptions we encounter is that reserving the venue means there's plenty of time before "real" planning needs to begin. In reality, the venue is the foundation of the planning process.

Once you know where and when your event will happen, dozens of other decisions become easier to make. At The Venue at Lenoir City, our team hosts private celebrations, weddings, nonprofit events, corporate meetings, conferences, expos, fundraisers, and community events throughout the year.
